Rodney Shores - Pastor of Music and Worship
Originally from Greensboro, North Carolina, Rodney Shores serves as Pastor of Worship and Arts at Tampa Covenant Church. Rodney holds bachelor's and master's degrees in piano performance with further training in choral conducting, and the advanced graduate certificate in piano pedagogy from the University of South Florida. In 2005, Rodney completed the Doctor of Worship Studies degree from the Institute for Worship Studies (www.iwsfla.org) and continues study for the Master of Arts degree in Christian Thought from Reformed Theological Seminary. Having spent some twenty years in various venues of music and worship ministry, Rodney also serves as Chair and Professor of Worship Ministries at Trinity College of Florida, has served as Adjunct Professor of Music at the University of South Florida, and is President of the Conservatory for the Arts at Tampa Bay, a non-profit organization committed to the reclamation of the visual and performance arts to the glory of God. Like all worship pastors, Rodney enjoys good music, a good book, Star Trek, comic books, and an occasional round of golf.
